TEIGNMOUTH'S Kingsway estate has had its share of problems, but now it's on the up.

Nearly all the residents say it is a great place to live and the turnaround has happened in a year.

Last year, about half the residents surveyed declared they were unhappy with the area, but a new report shows that 94 per cent are now content with their lot.

The previous negative attitude has been reversed, thanks to a partnership between Teign Housing, which manages 268 properties, and the police.
