HOMES in Exminster have been without power this morning following a large power cut.

More than 600 properties in the EX6 postcode area have been affected by the cut which happened just after 7.20am today.

It is thought power should be restored to all homes by about 10.30am.

A spokesman for National Grid said: ‘Our apologies to customers affected.’

Engineers are at the scene working on fixing the problem.

It added that power is expected to be restored by 10.30am.
