NEWTON Abbot Flower Club recently welcomed Lisa Harris from Honors Flowers in Plymouth for a special night of floral demonstrations.

With more than 20 years in the business, 12 of those in teaching, Lisa certainly brought he expertise the group’s latest meeting.

Lisa’s ‘Falling into Floral Sustainability’ was described as an ‘inspirational demonstration’ by the flower club.

Newton Abbot Flower Club’s Karen Jenks said: ‘Lisa gave a wonderful insight in using alternative mechanics, out of different items.

‘She made all the containers for the demonstration using items such as, coloured tape, test tubes, wire, willow, pringles container covered in paper, sand, and corrugated cardboard.

‘Members were delighted to take home the whole colourful arrangements’.

Honors Flowers opened a floristry school in 2017, with a variety too course and workshops on offer.
