YOUNG adults on the Entry to Employment programme (E2E) shamelessly walked through the streets of Newton Abbot on Monday wearing fancy dress to raise money for Comic Relief.
The colourful brigade started in the town centre, brightening up the afternoon of many shoppers, and ended up at Decoy Country Park.
Their fundraising exploits continue today with Fun Day at The Den, Teignmouth. Archery and games will be on offer for children along with performances by singer Ruthie B.
Tutor Chloe Wills said: 'The students have all worked really hard at organising these events, including doing the posters and leaflets, writing to local businesses and thinking of all the activities – all done through using their own initiative and because they want to get the community involved with helping Comic Relief.'
