Felicity Mansbridge, from Teignmouth, made her international basketball debut on Saturday.

The 5ft 11in Trinity School student was in the starting five for Wales End Girls' game against the England Development U15 Squad.

England were clear favourites to win the game, played at Rhondda Fach Sports Centre, but the home team made them work hard for their 63-49 victory.

Mansbridge, 16, who plays for Women's National Division Two side Exeter Eagles, has been training regularly with Wales' Elite National Development Squad since February.

As a forward/post player, she played a big part in Eagles winning the Exeter and District League title.

Mansbridge will continue training throughout the summer in readiness for the new basketball season.
