A?TEIGNMOUTH house that was lit up like an ocean liner with Christmas lights gave a lot of pleasure to hundreds and raised £80 for the Devon Air Ambulance.

It was the tenth year that Peter Spencer has adorned his Valley Close home with a colourful festive lighting display, and he says it has now become something of a tradition.

The lights have now been switched off and taken down after a month of shining brightly, and Mr Spencer said it was impossible to count how many took a look.
