ASHBURTON Twinning Association is presenting the film Peter and Ruby, in the town hall on Friday, April 8.

It is a documentary about life on a Dartmoor farm and a portrait of a veteran moorland farmer, Peter Hannaford, who arrived in Dartmoor in 1897 and was joined by his cousin Ruby in 1926.

The event, which begins at 8pm, also features ancient and modern pictures of Ashburton.
