THE deadline for applications to boost rural connectivity in Teignbridge is fast approaching.
More than £200,000 has already been invested to boost rural connectivity in Teignbridge, thanks to the UK Government’s Rural England Prosperity Fund.
One of the projects, pictured, supported was a new off-road path in Moretonhampstead, delivered by the Moretonhampstead Community Trust thanks to £10,000 in funding.
Grants of up to £75,000 are still available for projects that show clear evidence of local community support, benefit and need.
Projects should focus on creating new or improving: tourism, culture and heritage assets; active travel; rural amenities and green spaces.
The deadline to apply is September 1.
