TWO fire crews tackled a van on fire on the A380 at Splatford Split.

Fire control was inundated with reports of the blaze which happened just after 7pm on Friday.

Crews from Danes Castle and Middlemoor went sent to the scene.

Two firefighters wore sets of breathing gear and used one jet to put out the fire, which completely destroyed the van.
