RETAINED firefighters in Ashburton fell about laughing when they were called to rescue two men stuck 30ft up in a cherry picker.When they arrived at Parkers Caravan Park, Ashburton, on Friday afternoon they found one of the men was fellow firefighter Chris Stanton.'They started taking photos on their mobile phones and asked me what I was doing up there. 'They thought it was rather funny and I knew I was in for some ribbing,' said Mr Stanton.
