THE Teignmouth Post today brings you an exclusive behind the walls look at the town's latest iconic building.

Work is going on apace at the new £850,000 museum site in French Street.

With its lighthouse type tower and clever use of curves, the structure is set to become a landmark building that could win awards.

The complex, a merger of the present building and an extension, will double the display area for hundreds of exhibits, some of which date back hundreds of years.

But it will also include the latest technology in IT, lighting and ventilation.
