PASSENGERS booked on flights out of south Devon to terror-stricken Paris were offered alternative arrangements by Exeter-based Flybe at the weekend.

The company allowed those reluctant to travel to the French capital today (Monday) or Tuesday after Friday’s atrocities to rebook at a later date or be given a credit note for future travel.

A spokesman said: ‘Flybe offers its sincerest condolences and sympathy to all those impacted by Friday night’s attacks in Paris.

‘The airline will continue to closely monitor the situation - the safety and security of our customers and crew is always our top priority.’

Prayers in many churches across Teignbridge yesterday touched on the terrorist outrage which killed 129 people and critically injured 100 more.
