ICONIC steam locomotive The Flying Scotsman was back in Teignbridge today (Monday Oct 8) on her way back from a rail tour of Cornwall.

As with her trip down at the end of last week thousands turned out along the trackside vantage points and stations from Totnes to Exminster to glimpse the famous locomotive.

She stopped briefly at Dawlish Warren station this morning before heading on up the line to Exeter.Built in 1923 the locomotive was retired from regular service in 1963 after covering over two million miles.
