YOUNG HERO: There are 49 plus one scattered war graves in Teignmouth Cemetery. Nick Maylem, of the TS Canonteign Teign Valley Sea Cadet Unit, believes they should receive recognition and honour, particularly in the case of Arthur L Hamlyn, aged 16, who is the plus one. He was too young at age 16 to have been accepted into the forces, but nevertheless lost his life while at sea in a wartime vessel.
