TEIGNMOUTH RNLI Water Sports Family Fun Day is back tomorrow.
The day offers opportunities to have a go at paddle boarding, kayaking and, new to this year, beach surf lifesaving.
A spokesman for the event said: ‘Don’t forget to bring swimwear, a towel and a change of clothing. Wetsuits are required for the beach surf lifesaving tasters and can be hired on the day. Parental consent is required for minors to participate in all events.
‘With lots of fun on the water and RNLI stalls and games on dry land it promises to be a fun day for all the family.’
The RNLI is teaming up with SeaSports Southwest, Teignbridge Canoe and Kayak Club and Teignmouth Beach Surf Lifesaving Club for the event, which runs from 10am to 4pm on the New Quay.
Taster Sessions are £3 per person with all proceeds to the RNLI. Registration opens at 10am.
The event is subject to weather conditions. Any changes or cancellation will be posted on the Teignmouth RNLI Facebook page and website.
