BISHOPSTEIGNTON’S Moors Park flung open its gates at the weekend and welcomed all for its summer fete.
Villagers and residents’ relatives gathered in the sun last Saturday for an afternoon of music and entertainment.
A total of £300 was raised during the day and will go to the residents’ fund which will help finance days out.
There was plenty for people to sink their teeth into, including a tombola, guess the weight of the cake, a bouncy castle, cakes and live music from Andy Youngs, who treated guests to some 1940s-themed tunes.
Linnie Rackley, who organised the event with manager Linda Rowe, said: ‘It all went very well and it was a happy, vibrant, time.’
