A cheque for £150 was presented to Rowcroft Hospice last month after Ellie Forrest participated in a gruelling obstacle course.

Ellie, the daughter of the landlady of Bovey Tracey’s Bell Inn, completed the Rock Solid challenge which sees thousands of people battle their way through muddy and hilly terrain.

She presented the cheque to Rowcroft representative Debbie Shotton outside the pub.
