A community garden in Newton Abbot is celebrating its tenth anniversary tomorrow, October 20.
Vicary’s Field Community Garden is part of the town’s transition network.
The anniversary will be marked with an apple day, including apple pressing, mulled apple drink, pizza oven and music.
Everyone is invited to join in the apple harvest at Decoy Orchard from 10am to midday, followed by the apple celebrations from 12.30pm at Vicary’s Field, over the footbridge from Baker’s Park car park.
There are signs for Decoy Orchard through the BMX track, from the car park on Coach Road.
