AN AFTERNOON of fun and festivities is coming to Ogwell this weekend.

Ogwell Fair, which is taking place on Saturday, June 18, has a wide array of activities for everyone to enjoy: a Taiko drum performance, dog show, raffle, martial arts display, auction, an assortment of stalls, many of which will be cash only and much more besides.

The fair is free to attend, however there will be programmes at the gates to buy for 50p with a Lucky Ticket inside which will be drawn at 3.15pm, all being well.

The event has been organised by a small team of dedicated volunteers who are hard at work behind the scenes ensuring Saturday’s festivities run without issue.

The team will be in blue ‘crew’ polo shirts on the day and will be on hand to answer any questions and queries people may have.

There is limited parking in and around the green and so those looking to attend are encouraged to use the free shuttle bus which has stops at Ogwell Cross, Canada Hill Primary School, Reynell Road and Larksmead Way.

The shuttle bus will be running from 11:30am until 5.30pm.
