INCREDIBLY hard work by volunteer gardeners at the South Devon Railway’s Staverton Station has paid dividends and resulted in the highest accolade.

The station has been awarded Gold in the Royal Horticultural Society’s South West in Bloom’s Business, Leisure and Tourism Class.

That is a step up on last year when it received a Silver Gilt.
