members of Teignmouth Art society practised their skills in action painting and drawing at their most recent meeting.
Treasurer Trevor Haddlelstone posed for the group by sitting at a table playing the card game patience and drinking the occasional glass of beer.
members used various mediums to capture the scene and some creditable results were achieved.
The society's next meeting is on March 7, when Sylvia Macgregor will demonstrate a variety of techniques using water colour pencils.
