THE Jolly Good Fish Cafe, Teign Street, Teignmouth, has been awarded its third Seafish Industry Authority Fryers Quality Award since 1999.
The award is given only to those who have been recognised for their high standards of product, premises and handling practices.
Current owner John Larman, who runs the cafe/take-away with his wife, Ella, believes the latest award is down to teamwork and quality.
He said: 'We only buy the best fish and other products. I also have excellent staff and their customer care is second to none.'
John has been running the Jolly Good since May last year, but he has been in catering for 20 years and says that he and his employees also take great pride in their hygiene and cleanliness.
He also paid tribute to the local customer base that the cafe has as he could not have been successful without them.
