FAMILY and friends of a girl who received life-saving surgery at just three weeks old are expressing their gratitude by cycling, swimming and walking in aid of hospital funds.

Debbie and Kevin Wills, of Hamilton Drive, Newton Abbot have recruited sisters, in-laws, work colleagues and friends to help them raise £3,000 for Bristol Children's Hospital charity, The Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal.

Tomorrow, five of them are pedalling from Newton Abbot to the Bristol hospital, a distance of 92 miles.

'To help us raise as much money as possible we have also managed to rope in four others who are walking to Bristol over three days and my sister who is swimming five miles,' said Debbie
