FOR more than 15 years 84-year-old Mary Witt has put a smile on the faces of children at Halloween.
Last night was no exception when together with daughter Sue and Sue's partner Michael, they handed out goodies as children knocked on the door of her home in Westabrook, Ashburton.
Mrs Witt saves £1 weekly for her Halloween children's treat and this week with her niece Dawn Roberts bought cartons of soft drinks, packets of crisps, sweets and chocolate, which were made up into bags by brothers Ollie (seven) and Elliott (nine) Jennings.<
