PHOTOGRAPHIC processing company Harrier LLC, of the Brunel Industrial Estate, Newton Abbot, has informed staff that up to 17 jobs will have to go. The American owned company, which was formerly Nashua until it became Harrier in April 1998, employs around 130 people as well as another 40 at its eight Truprint shops. A member of the workforce said they had been told 17 people would be going but as yet did not know who they would be. A spokeswoman for the Newton Abbot plant, which carries out film and digital photographic printing and produces gift ware, said it was currently reviewing their resources and would be in a position to give a statement or further information next week.
