Fortunately there were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in the district on the same day (February 6).
The latest figures from the Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust show there were 27 patients in hospital with coronavirus on February 1, with two coronavirus patients in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator.
