Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have two National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures are due to start over the next two weeks:

A38, from 8pm January 6 to 6am January 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Drumbridges to Clay Lane - lane closure and convoy working for inspection/surveys.

A30, from 8pm January 9 to 6am January 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road carriageway closure (24/7 weekend closure) for resurfacing, diversion via A379 to Kennford or Bad Hamburg Way, Alphin Brook Road, Church Road and A377.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
