191 new people in Teignbridge had a confirmed positive test result reported on January 17.

Between January 11 and 17, 1,178 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -16.3% compared to the previous seven days, according to the latest Government figures.

Fortunately there were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on January 17.

Five people with coronavirus went into hospital on January 9.

Between January 3 and 9 30 went into hospital with coronavirus. This shows a decrease of -18.9% compared to the previous seven days.

There were 34 patients in hospital with coronavirus on January 11.

There was one coronavirus patient in hospital beds with a mechanical ventilator on January 11.
