Cases are falling in Teignbridge but four people have died over the past week.

152 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported in Teignbridge on February 16.

Between February 10 and 16, 939 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -30.1% compared to the previous seven days.

Fortunately there were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in Teignbridge on February 16. But between February 10 and 16, there have been four deaths in the district within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were 29 patients in hospital with coronavirus on February 8, with one of them on a mechanical ventilator.
