MEET the Otter model who has raised more than £1,000 for NHS charities.
He was created by Natalie Bray, an artist who works at the Jolly Roger, of Bovey Tracey.
The Jolly Roger - Lifesize Models – has donated a miniature version of one of their famous Otters which you may have seen dotted around Dartmoor National Park, and the time of their in-house artist Natalie Bray to produce this one of a kind piece.
A spokesperson said: ‘It is named “not all heroes wear capes” in honour of all our NHS heroes and heroines working tirelessly in the current circumstances.’
All money will go to the Torbay and South Devon NHS Charitable Fund.
‘We are asking people to donate as much or as little as they can afford. The person or indeed group (why not club together with work colleagues, friends or family) who donate the highest amount will receive the signed otter.
‘And finally if all you are able to do is share our Facebook page it will be a huge help in generating interest and donations for this worthy cause.’
Natalie adds: ‘The Otter is a tribute to the wonderful work our NHS are currently doing.
‘The Otter has raised nearly a thousand pounds in the first two days of going live and the highest donation will receive the signed Otter.’
‘Wow,’ said Natalie of the support she has received, ‘ Thank you for donating and keep sharing.’
