A HEAVY police presence was spotted on Albany Street, Newton Abbot, this morning (Friday).

Police were called to a property to assist ambulance crews at around 9.45am due to concern for a man’s welfare.

A police spokesman said: ‘A man in his late 30s has subsequently been taken to hospital after suffering a medical episode in Albany Street, Newton Abbot.’
