FAMILIES and individuals in Ashburton who are affected by the coronavirus outbreak are being urged to contact the town’s food bank if they need help with food.

In addition to the community support group that has formed in the town, Ashburton food bank want to re-assure people that its services are still available.

A spokesman for the food bank said: ‘If you have little or no money to pay for food can then please contact the food bank.

‘We will respond quickly and discreetly to your request.

You are not alone, we are all in this together.’
