STUNNING, fantastic, fabulous, eye-opening, brilliant and an amazing wealth of talent – these were just some of the accolades from the hundreds of visitors to the second of Holcombe's arts and crafts exhibition held at the village hall last weekend. Visitors from througout the country enjoyed an array of varied exhibits, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, needlework and basketry. Donations totalled more than £200 for the village hall fund. Roger Tyler, chairman of the organising committee welcomed Cllr Tom Bush, the mayor of Dawlish who opened the exhibition and Cllr Beryl Austin, chairman of Teignbridge Council. Mr Tyler also paid tribute to the 30-plus residents who contributed their many talents to the show and to the hard-working committee and band of helpers who had mounted the exhibition.
