Has anyone else experienced this among your readers.
On July 4 Asda took from my bank account, without a purchase being made by me or authorised in any way, three amounts totalling £297.03.
The complaint started with customer services at Newton Abbot and the funds came back over the next week.
This only happened after several calls, two visits and many emails to resolve this to the Asda complaints team.
I have one main question. How did they get money from my account without my security PIN?
I lost a day’s work on July 4 and July 6 trying to sort this with a call to Newton Abbot police and the fraud team at Santandar.
On Sunday they offered me £35 and still don’t have a clue how this happened.
They have passed my complaint on to their legal department and I will take this up with a solicitor. I am not happy compensation-wise or that they can commit fraud, which this is, and get away with it.
