BACK with a bang! Kingskerswell & District Garden Society’s autumn show returns after a two year hiatus.

Chair of Kingskerswell & District Garden Society, Wendy Rockey, said: ‘It is an annual show which is always well attended by the village, it brings the community together.

‘This was the first one since 2019 due to Covid, we actually decided to postpone it until now, to try and follow the Government guidelines, a lot of our members are elderly and vulnerable.

‘It was brilliant to be back, it was very well attended in most classes and we had quite a few and we also saw some new people, some new exhibitors competing for the first time.

‘It was all very nicely done.

Members from Kingskerswell & District Garden Society meet regularly at Kingskerswell Community Centre.

‘We’re holding our next meeting on September 23 at 7pm, there will be a talk, tea and biscuits and new members are very welcome,’ Wendy said.
