DETECTIVES are hunting a prolific burglar thought to be behind 11 raids across south Devon which have cost victims nearly £20,000 in lost goods.

Eight of the 11 attacks in the last month have been in the Teignbridge area where the thief has favoured jewellery.

Detectives are now urging people to make sure they photograph their valuables to help officers return any items they may find to their rightful owners.

Break-ins have been reported in Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Dawlish Warren, East Ogwell, Highweek, Kennford, Kingskerswell and Shaldon.
