THE new town development manager for Dawlish and Teignmouth will be funded through the setting up of a community interest company.

Recruitment is already under way for the post, with interviews due to be held later this month.

By setting up the job through a CIC, the aim is to make the post eligible to bid for other sources of grant funding and commercial contributions which can be used towards future projects and initiatives.
