PUPILS from a Newton Abbot primary school had a special visitor this week... the town’s Police Community Support Officers (PCSO).

PCSO Deborah McCaffery and Sharon Roffey paid a visit to All Saints Marsh CofE Academy to speak to children about their role in the community.

‘It looks like we will be having an influx of applications from them in years to come!’ a spokesperson for Newton Abbot Police said.

‘Thank you to our visitors today who spoke to us about keeping us safe and their job ’ a spokesperson for the school said.

‘When asked “who wants to be a police officer” almost the whole school said yes!
