EVENT organisers in Dawlish are looking forward to next year’s coronation of King Charles.

Dawlish Town Council is already starting to think about plans for events to mark the weekend of celebrations on May 6 to May 8 2023.

A meeting is being held on Monday December 5 at the Manor House at 8pm to hear ideas.

A suggestion box is also at the Manor House for anyone to post their ideas.

A town council spokesman said: ‘For the Jubilee we were able to have lots of community involvement and we hope to do the same again for the Coronation weekend.’
