I hear the pronouncements from Devon County Council that they don’t have the funds to repair all potholes due to adverse weather, snow, heavy rain, excess leaves, too many cars etc.

However, in order for all pavement and road users to be aware of where they are, can I suggest that at least they could be highlighted round the circumference with luminous paint. A least then we would be pre-warned to avoid driving/walking/cycling into them.

Of course, the DCC might be so embarrassed by the overwhelming number that they might actually do something about them.
