A PILE of junk illegally dumped at a Dartmoor beauty spot has been cleared by national park rangers and conservation workers.

They swooped on a car park at Trendlebere Down between Haytor and Manaton to clear the unsightly waste.

The objects of the recent disposal mission included the remains of a garden shed, assorted green waste, tree cuttings, building rubble, cast iron guttering and bits of slate.
