IMMIGRATION officers who raided a Teignmouth restaurant were 'heavy handed and aggressive', it is claimed.

They swooped on the Naz Indian restaurant in Somerset Place, seeking illegal immigrants believed to be working there.

Five men from Bangladesh were arrested, and now the owners could face a fine of up to £100,000.

But a spokesman for the restaurant, Abu Siddique, told the Post that the men were merely staying there, and not working for the business.
