AROUND 600 people turned up for a two-day consultation exhibition on overhauling parking and traffic in Teignmouth.

Cllr Don Baldey, chairman of the traffic working party, said he was 'delighted' with the response at the Methodist Church hall last week.

'I am told by county council officers, who organise a lot of these sort of meetings across Devon, that the turnout was unprecedented.
