A diamond worth £1,300 is up for grabs in a charity raffle in Newton Abbot to be drawn on Saturday, June 23.

It been donated by Gerry and Co Jewellers to Hannahs at Seale Hayne as the star prize in its diamond jubilee raffle.

'We just wanted to do something to help the good cause,' said James Chanter, of Gerry and Co.

Tickets to win the full, modern, brilliant cut 0.53 carat stone are available from the jewellers and Seale Hayne and are £1 each. The draw takes place at Gerry and Co next Saturday.
