YOUNGSTERS at Buckfastleigh Primary School have enjoyed a happy hour or two getting creative with former Housemartins' star Stan Cullimore.

The former indie rock musician, who formed the chart-topping band with Paul Heaton in 1983, has since developed a career as writer and broadcaster.

He began his day with the children by playing ukulele in assembly before working with individual classes.
