Dave Grylls, of Wolverton Drive, Kingsteignton, writes:
Is it any wonder that the NHS and police are stretched to the limit when we seem to be accommodating those who contribute absolutely nothing to our taxes or our economy.
Once again we learn of travellers just setting up camp when and wherever they like.
The present legal system is so flawed that it takes several days before we can give them the boot.
The longer they stay then the more mess is left for the local authority to clear up.
We should in someway be able to take them to task and demand payment for all the inconvenience and mess that they cause.
More often than not these people drive expensive 4x4 vehicles and have quite luxurious caravans, many acquired at the genuine taxpayers’ expense.
The now greatest reason for aggression towards these and many others is the inequality of the system introduced by all governments.
It is time to be strong and take action!
The law and the exercising of it is so terribly unfair, and we have every right to feel anger and resentment.
Our complete legal system is badly in need of a complete overhaul and the judiciary need a swift kick in the rear.
One time an envy of the world, Britain now finds that an awful lot needs doing to address the present day position.
