LIVERTON teenager Jodie Clarke arrived in no mean style for her prom at Seale-Hayne, Newton Abbot, last week.

The South Dartmoor Community College, Ashburton, student was given a lift on a bright yellow trike, the machine set off to a T by Jodie's bright pink dress, black leather jacket and patent Dr Martens boots.

The treat was arranged by Lo Reid and fellow bikers at the Star Inn, Liverton, who wanted to show their support for the 17-year-old who has made the most of her academic career to date despite having to live with Down's Syndrome.

'It was lovely of Lo to think of Jodie,' said mum Adie.

'She is very outgoing, sociable, some might say fearless, so when she was offered a ride on a Rewaco trike to her leavers' prom she was so excited.
