Nearly a year to the day after suffering a car accident and being air lifted to the RD&E Hospital at Wonford, Exeter, Jane Bray is doing a sponsored skydive for the charity which saved her arm. She aims to raise £1,000 for Devon Air Ambulance, which attended her July 6 accident at Luscombe Hill, near Ashburton. Her arm was stripped and trapped under her car. 'I wanted to do it on the same day as the accident but that wasn't possible,' said Ms Bray, a full-time delivery driver. Ms Bray, of Willow Street, Teignmouth, spent four weeks in hospital and was off work for a further four months while she underwent rehabilitation. 'I've never done a skydive before,' she said. 'It was either this or a bungee jump. I wanted to do something a little wild – I'm lucky to have my arm.' The skydive takes place on Sunday at Dunkeswell. To sponsor her call 07727 648897.

the sky’s the limit: Jane Bray, who is grateful to have her arm, will do a sponsored sky dive for Devon Air Ambulance on Sunday.
