MORE than £1,200 was raised by various events at Bovey Tracey's Cromwell Arms for Macmillan Cancer Support – and money is still coming in.
David Shepherd, who lost his partner Linda Phillips to a rare form of cancer two years ago, organised events which included washing cars, a hog roast, live music, a raffle and a music quiz.
Kate Nickell brought in £400 for the total by keeping quiet.
