A WOMAN was rushed to hospital after a knife incident at her home in Kingskerswell.

The 63-year-old casualty suffered a hand injury after a domestic incident involving a knife.

Police and paramedics attended the address in Avenue Road after the alarm was raised at 3.50am yesterday (thurs).

A police spokesman confirmed that the incident was a domestic matter. No crime had been committed.

The casualty was taken to Torbay Hospital for treatment to cut fingers.
